The Make Den is temporarily closed in an effort to keep staff, students and others safe and healthy. As of now classes are suspended until October 31st. If you are enrolled in a class the begins October 31st or earlier, you should have already received an email from us regarding how to reschedule your class. If you did not receive this email please reach out to us at info@themakeden.com
Despite our anticipation and excitement to reopen in October, the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in Ontario is deeply concerning to all of us. With Toronto re-entering Stage 2, the safety of our staff and students is our top priority.
While we are not open for group classes, we remain open for fabric, notions and pattern shopping via Instagram (@themakeden). We would be happy to curate project packages for you via Instagram! Just send a DM for more photos if you want to see something specific! We have lots of quilting cotton, waxed canvas, cotton linen canvas and cotton solids for at-home projects. Curb-side pickup hours are Monday-Wednesday 12-6pm.
Private lessons, as well as privately booked groups of up to 4 who are from the same household can be booked anytime 7 days/week 10am-9pm, depending on teacher availability. If you would like to use your class credit towards a private lesson or arrange a group lesson for your household, please email info@themakeden.com for more details and to set up your lesson.
Stay crafty and look after each other, and we’ll see you on the flip side.
Nothing makes us happier than helping our students realize their creative goals. Whether you’re working on your first pillow case, a new purse, a piece of textile art to hang on your wall or a couture evening gown, we’re here to help! Every student and every project is important to us. We provide serious sewing skills in a beautiful, well equipped and fun studio where students connect with their creativity, learn and leave with a renewed sense of empowerment and inspiration. Sewing is our passion, and we can’t wait to share our studio with you!
